The boys tried weighing some pieces of pine and some pieces of whau to see which wood was heavier.one piece of pine weighed the same as three pieces of whau the same size. i bet the whau rafts will float berrter said michael.They put all the rafts into the water and tried adding some lemons to see how many each ratf could carry before it sank.
